In the Invictus Games. He's on his way. I think he does Archery - whatever his sport I hope he and all his fellow sportsmen and women, have great fun and do well. I have such admiration for them all.

I also remember Cheryl posting this right from the beginning.
She was so strong and supportive.
It is a tribute to the family and to Ash that he came through this as he has and making the Invictus games as well.

The power of positive thinking! <3 <3

A good picture on early evening BBC news.

I too remember those posts, when the news first broke that Ash had been so terribly injured.
It is good to see how well he and his fellow athletes have fought back and gained such respect, when facing their many challenges.

Absolutely, Gwyn. I think we all felt Ash was our own as we rooted for his recovery and rehabilitation, and his family were so brave and supportive. He had his ups and downs but the family have pulled together and Ash has found new direction.

Definitely a hero, Ash, along with his fellow athletes.

I believe I am right in saying Ash was part of the wheelchair rugby team who won a silver medal. Well done team and well done Ash.
