We have just been to the Harvest Supper because we are right on trendsetters.

Once upon a time I would drink snake bite made with Festival Vat cider, it was brewed for the Queen's silver jubilee, that's when it was,and Kronenburg.

Tonight, I took a can of cider which is of a strength to have already experienced the inside of a kidney and I could barely keep awake.

Didn't stop us winning the quiz though!

Oh well done for winning the quiz, Sharron!

I am always having to drive when we go out as o.h. won't forgo his alcoholic dtinks so I can't have anything interesting lol Consequently I am very much out of practice these days and a couple of glasses of wine has me giddy lol

Nice that you get out to socialise and show the others how to win lol

Alcohol is the Devil's buttermilk.

I have never been that keen on alcohol, but am not teetotal. However, since contracting labyrinthitis some years ago, which has the effect of making me feel slightly lightheaded, I have stopped drinking altogether when away from home (or wherever I am spending the night). This means that I can do the driving and OH is free to drink, if he wants.

I want to drink, I really do, because, unless I partake of a little alcohol, I am a non-smoking, teetotal, vegetarian with street cred in ruins!

Hard abstaining just doesn't have the same resonance as hard drinking!

I know what you meant Maggie, I was replying to David.

It could just be that I have come to the end of my drinking career because I have had my lifetime's quota.
