Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it

Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 2 Oct 2017 18:14

Well about 5 mins later there was an awful screaming.he must have had somthing else .
Not a cat cos there was no initial cat warnings they give before fighting
I have a pond with some ornaments on the surrounding rockery and the next morning my fox ornament was in the pond
No idea what he went for ,hope it wasn't a rat , could have been a fox but no corpses found

He is a lovely boy. Now 4 years old and good company . We got him in June 2015 from the local cats protection but he was more my boy as hubby's health deteriorated and he was hospitalised.

He will attack my legs if I ignore his signals he wants out

At least he has ignored scratching the leather suite . He will attack his scratch post and lounger with gusto

Shirley 'NMC' had a tiny mouse the other day, on the lawn. Seeing me he made off out the gate with it, whereupon followed much coaxing with crunchies and threats on my part until I could grab him and put him in the house

I thought he had killed the mouse as it had been so still, but it scuttled off under a fence. I like them so I hope it recovered.

MC usually goes for bigger things, usually a rat or two over the winter ( something to look forward to!) but he is less likely to give them up and carries them off over the 6ft high mesh fence into the park, where he sits looking at me intently, challenging me to follow lol

My little bugger is well fed. Maybe too much cos he is 4 years old and getting quite porkie

Have been a big orf the last couple of weeks so the sleeping pattern has been orf
I got up at 3plus am Sunday morning so he wanted out .ok no probs!!
Left the door on the latch so he could come back
Yep he did with lots of fluffing !! Bloody cat he brought in a live mouse !!!!! I hate em with a vengeance.
I closed the door to contain it so could get the dustpan but he wasn't having it
I came back but he had opened the door and it was gone !!,, panic

It was only a small field mouse and was behind the curtains ,I was able to scoop it up and fling it out the door followed by mr Tibbs

He isn't allowed in now before I inspect he hasnt a present in his mouth

I HATE mice and anything that darts and has tails

:-) Rollo.

RNMC! is also partial to a pat of butter on his plate... he told me so in no uncertain terms. Fortunately he hasn't yet learned to open the fridge.

'My cat', 'not my cat' and 'Really not my cat!' have colds.

NMC has been a semi permanent presence for the last couple of years,
RNMC! is a very old ragged cat (neglected by some neighbours) who also comes for food but mainly sleeps elsewhere.
and MC tolerates them with ill disguised hatred :-)

RNMC! started it, sneezing and sleeping wherever it chose, mainly in the kitchen ( a variety of locations, absolutely not something I encourage, but he does seem to favour the top of the drier which at least is washable! )
'NMC' then started with the sneezing, and because he was sleeping in the front room, MC has been sleeping upstairs ( partly in the hope he wouldn't catch the cold, ) but now has started sneezing but not as badly.

All par for the course, but I really think it is taking the mick when RNMC!, obviously beginning to feel better, spends the night dragging cat food pouches ( the expensive ones bought to tempt appetite) from the box and tears them open on the kitchen floor and eats 3 in a row ;-)

I'm really really a dog person lol.
