Well done him!! :-D :-D :-D
All proceeds go to Children in Need.

I bet the shop owner was a little put out.

I've got something that will make 100% profit if and when I sell it.
It's an oil painting by Rene Le Forestier, picked up years ago (pre internet) in a jumble sale - for the frame - for the grand sum of £2.50!!
I (fortunately) never used the frame, but found the picture again, when having a clear out. Looked it up online - his paintings go for about £250.00 :-D :-D

Amazing wasn't it.?

I saw this mentioned on the BBC breakfast time programme, so made a point of watching.

It often amazes me just how much mark up is made on boot fair items sometimes, but nothing on the scale of the rare camera though.

A rare antique camera, bought for just £60 by Antique Road Trip’s Paul Laidlaw, sold for an extraordinary £20,000, smashing all records.
