So we won the quiz at the Harvest Supper but that might well have been because we are a quiz team once a month and we know how to conduct ourselves.

I have written a little bit for the parish magazine to say thank you to the ladies who slave away to feed us and to compile the quiz. I didn't mention that we won the quiz but I did mention that the vicar's team could well have been the winners themselves had they not bickered and squabbled about the answers like a squad of girlsblouses.

Is there any hope of salvation for those who call the vicar a girlsblouse I wonder?
