The news seems to get worse all the time.

The brutal handling of the voting dispute in Spain was deeply disturbing.

Rest in peace, Mr Tom Petty and thank you for the music you gave us.

His death has been confirmed by his family and his manager. The BBC has also got his death reported.

15 minutes ago, still no confirmation.
Hopefully it will be another Mark Twain quote:
"Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated"

He was, however found unconscious, and not breathing, was put on life support, and has since been taken off life support on a 'do not resuscitate' order from his family, but is clinging on to life.

Well it's been a right miserable day news wise with the dreadful Las Vegas shooting and then the loss of Monarch, now it's been announced Tom Petty has died.

Think I'm going to bed before anything else happens.

RIP Tom, another Wilbury gone <3
