After a lovely sunny day yesterday, which was pleasantly warm until late afternoon, we are now having gale force winds, and rain!

Sorry Jem but thought I'd be back for the Sunday match but you know what they say about best laid plans of mice and men. Well it all went awry and I didn't get back until after the match had finished :-0

Still, we picked up our friends from the airport, all had a lovely (if slow) lunch and enjoyed ourselves. :-D

IRELAND HAVE ALREADY WON THE SIX NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP 2018!
They can now not be beaten, as no other team can accumulate enough match points to overtake them.

But - CAN THEY WIN THE TRIPLE CROWN & THE GRAND SLAM?
*To win the "Triple Crown" a nation must beat the other 3 nations from the home countries
Ireland have already beaten Scotland and Wales. They need to beat England this weekend for that achievement.

And also, if they do beat England, then they also win "The Grand Slam* (beating all other nations in this competition)


AND CAN WALES HOLD ON TO SECOND PLACE?

I did watch the rest of the match, but from the bath :-D

The room has a hydro bath and two basins separated by glass screens. There is a separate loo and a separate shower room. You can pull wooden screens over the glass for privacy, but without them, you can watch tv in the bath. So I watched the rest of the match- I hope they couldn’t seeme :-D

We then bd a walk up to reception to get our leaving time for tomorrow and had a couple of drinks while we were there. Just time to rest now before dinner. It is a hard life.
Sadly we will come down to earth with a bump tomorrow when we get back to Leeds. Not literally I hope,
