Anyone tried this instead of ecconomy and if so how does it compare with cost and what you get.

Is this something to do with plane seats?

Sorry - We haven’t been on a plane where it’s been offered

Added - that’s the only reference there seems to be. Other entries are for Premiere Economy.
If it’s the same, its worth it if you’re going on a long haul. Slightly extra leg room & wider seats. With a bit of luck, they wouldn’t have been flattened by 1000’s of other bums.

We did it coming back from Miami on Virgin and, if you can afford it it is well worth the extra comfort on that airline. Don't know about other airlines though. don't think I would bother short haul.

I’ve been looking at Cathay pacific flights to Australia, it’s about double the economy so was just wondering if anyone else has used that airline.

Mixed reviews! They do seem to be based on different aircraft. so may be you'd need to take that into consideration. You also need to make your mind up whether reviewers are of European extraction or Asian. With obvious exceptions, both tend to have different genetic builds.

Only you know your budget. Having experienced both a BA Traveller Plus (their version of Premier Economy and a Virgin Economy to or from San Francisco, I'd opt for the Premier Economy every time.
