Please ladies, a little decorum :-0

Perhaps it was.... ;-) :-D

Dermot

Dermot Report 1 Feb 2018 13:02

My 'Manhood' thread was going much too fast for me! A diplomatic decision to dump it. No speeding ticket for me!

Anyway, a few of the mischief-making contributions were not worth the trouble of reading. :-P

It must have been the manhood thread, Kathryn, because it's gone.

Thank you Dermot - I thought my comments may have upset someone. :-0

Allan, I can't speak for WA but I was last in Victoria in the early noughties (don't you love that word) and thought driving had improved from the 70s and 80s. It was infinitely better than the NE of England In the early 2000s which brought about the 'dog eat dog' comment from a relly visiting from London.

In order to make sense of the thread you are now missing:

What are you talking about?
You really shouldn't work so hard at demonstrating your ignorance in public.
Those who care all know and the rest expect no better.

Get out your skipping ropes girls

Here we go gathering nuts in May,
Nuts in May, nuts in May,
Here we go gathering nuts in May,
On a cold and frosty morning.

Who will you have for nuts in May,
Nuts in May, nuts in May,
Who will you have for nuts in May,
On a cold and frosty morning.

We'll have [name] for nuts in May,
Nuts in May, nuts in May,
We'll have [name] for nuts in May,
On a cold and frosty morning.

Who will you send to fetch him/her away,
Fetch him/her away, fetch him/her away,
Who will you send to fetch him/her away,
On a cold and frosty morning.

We'll send [name] to fetch him/her away,
Fetch him/her away, fetch him/her away,
We'll send [name] to fetch him/her away,
On a cold and frosty morning.

Get your Jag here - typical deals £ 2K up front, £ 250 / month much better drive than a Ford. I dislike non stop traffic / audio warnings and usually disable them in favour of Radio 3. Maybe I shall have to review that.

enjoy

I removed it as some people are unable to debate any issue but prefer to behave like the schoolyard. Supercrutch is a case in point.

In his Jaguar.

Actually, it is a Renault Clio with a sticker on it saying "My Other Car Is A Jaguar " and he has to pedal it!

JoyLouise

Falling about laughing here as well as displaying my ignorance in public (which I do on a regular basis) :-D :-D :-D

Love the ninny goats comment as much as the skipping ropes one. :-D

Jags, don't mention them. My SIL wrote one off many years ago and never bought another! :-0

Nuts ..... excuse me, my OH has just said that there are men in white coats at the door. That'll be for him cos I am infallible as he well knows. ;-) :-D

Dermot

Dermot Report 1 Feb 2018 14:33

I'm regularly being accused of driving much too close to the car behind me.

That's the trouble with having to sleep at the 'wrong' time of day, you miss all the fun :-D

Methinks that someone has taken his ball and gone off in a huff

Mind you, depending on the timing of the deletions, it could have been an hour and a huff ;-) ;-)

JoyLouise, the best Aussie drivers that I've seen are in Tasmania. There they give way to pedestrians as required, rather than using them as targets :-0 :-D
