I don't know about McCulloch, but if you google JCB Mowers there are lots still available.

It does three gardens. They are inter-war council houses, about 120ft by 15ft but not all grass.

Does anybody know if McCulloch used to be JCB?

Fred always used second hand lawn mowers, usually from car boot sales. In 2002, his latest one was getting a bit dodgy and I was pig sick of there being cables out of the window and through the letter box every week so,much to his disgust, I bought him a JCB motor mower.

It cost something approaching £200 at the time but I told him it was bought with the commission from the club book, because I would tell him anything.

That mower has given us sterling service over the intervening years and, yesterday. Fred's mate and M took it off to the mower mechanic who nearly had a seizure laughing at it. He was amazed that the motor and body were still together.

Anyway, I need to buy a new mower, that one owes us nothing, and was looking to get another JCB but it looks like they are now called McCulloch.

Does anybody know anything about mowers please?
