In last 2 days had messages to renew debit card details in familiar G. R.format. Entered password and gained entry to GR. Do have new card but how would GR know this when haven't told them? Entered my personal details site & noted that my yearly subscription not due until 14/6/2018
So why am I receiving these messages, if they're not 'scam' in Gmail?

It does sound far too early for GR to have contacted you, hopefully you didn't link in via the email as it sounds like a scam.

If you have auto renew on and you have changed your card say because the other has expired, GR wont be able to renew at all. They certainly wont know your new card details unless you have amended this on your account details.

Personally I leave offf the auto renew to see what discounts they offer me after my subs are due.

It sounds like it's not GR and also they wouldnt be asking for your card details either.

i would just delete and do nothing, best way and ignore all future messages until nearer your renewal.

Horrace, if you ever need, as in this case, to contact support, email them directly.

They rarely, if ever, look at the Boards. The community boards are intended for fellow members like ourselves to socialise or ask for advice from each other. :-)
