As big as a wally I said! Like in the chip shop!

Yeh little courgettes size.

Not a cornichon like posh people eat.

The size of a small courgette? :-S

Sharron

Sharron Report 7 Feb 2018 11:24

Sharron

Sharron Report 7 Feb 2018 10:54

She is not advocating eating a tin of anchovies daily although I think a daily jar of gherkins would be ideal.

Bob, Sainsbury's gherkins are not as addictive as those from Lidl.

I make this observation not from experience as we have neither of those stores in WA, but from the fact that Sharron has mentioned said gherkins in several of her posts whilst those from Sainsbury have never cracked a mention

Bobtanian Report 5 Feb 2018 20:24

yes! an empty jar and nowt to put in it!!

As it happens I had a Ham n pickle sarnie earlier and my gherkins came from sainsbury's!!

Sharron

Sharron Report 5 Feb 2018 19:26

I know, Bob. Think of the courage I had to muster to confess.

When the large gherkin jars are empty, I pickle onions in them.

Could it be worse?

Sharron

Sharron Report 5 Feb 2018 18:59

I have succumbed and opened that jar of Lidl gherkins and am shovelling them in at rate of knots!
