I use OH's site and it seems OK so far today.

He contacted them a short while ago to ask why his messages had not been getting through and, at last, they've fixed it.

It's working fine for me ......

I tested using the name of one of my father's ancestors born around 1800 +/- 10years ................... and managed to find yet another tree catastrophe for that family.

How about copying from another family tree a photo of a child born in 1876 and attaching to someone born in 1720 :-0 :-| :-P

Researching:
My brother, photo taken in September 1991 just a couple of weeks before he died. ............................................................ To help us and to get better results, please post as much detail as you can, especially name, date(s) and place. Also say what you already know.

Odd! I’ve just gone into the site, can view my tree and can view an image for one of the attached records.

Might your ad blocker be over zealous? A few months ago I had the same problem. We ‘allowed’ it for Ancestry & each page. Eventually it got the message.

What sort of problems are you having? I was using it this morning & it was fine.

There’s no comments on their FB page from disgruntled users although some have complained about extra ‘clicks’ they have to make & wrongly matched images to updated workhouse records.

They are having a free weekend for UK users. Could that be having an impact?

Is anyone else having trouble with ancestry today, The site looks different and i cannot open some parts of the site.
