Just as I'm watching the reruns of MASH the death of David Ogden Stiers aged 75 has been announced.

No sooner had I read that than I saw Roger Bannister the first sub 4 minute miler had died aged 88.

the trouble is that we can't hold back time and, like the rest of us these people have got older. Although, these days 75 is relatively young to die.
