I fell for it on the second attempt of theirs. The Tel # is a dud
and if you text them it empties your phone account :-0 :-|

Sorry to hear that David. It can be worth googling the phone number they give you first as you will then see if others are reporting it as a scam.

About 2 weeks ago I received in the post a letter from people I's never heard of

regarding an uncollected prize I'd allegedly won. I phoned them on the number on their letter, it did not exist. So I tore the letter up.
Today I received another letter from the same people advising me again of an uncollected prize that could be from £25 to £2000.

This time I had the option of sending a text to xxxxxxx=xx This I did.
Almost immediately my phone rang , message saying insufficient credit !!
I checked my balance on my PAYG phone. It had went from a healthy ammount
in credit to £-1.91 I'd been conned.

NO ONE IS GIVING AWAY MONEY....apart from those scammed :-0 :-|
