Sadly our Babs died yesterday.

She was a real character who used to light up the boards in years gone by. I was lucky enough to meet her when she came to a Coventry meet and she was everything I thought she'd be.

She's been a supportive friend to many, even though she was no longer a member here she was elsewhere and on facebook.

Sleep tight, my friend.

I met Babs at a few of the Northern meets.
She always had us in stitches with her quick wit.

Rest in Peace Babs and fly with the ANGELS.

It is sad. She was very kind and she even came to my mums funeral. I hope that I will be able to attend hers once the arrangements have been made

I have just returned from the funeral. The chapel was full, which shows how much she was held in regard. “ Em”was there with her husband, so it was lovely to be able to catch up with her.

We went back to the reception for a while, where there were lots of fond memories and nice photos to see. When we left everyone was settled in for the duration, something Babs would have approved of, she was always up for a good party.
