The TV news said that they were still searching the river.

Perhaps the thief didn't know the child was in it until it cried, and lost control of the car!

Could a number of scenarios really!

Was thinking that Pat, you got to be quite heartless to leave a small child in that situation unless you wanted to inflict harm....or maybe the driver ended up in the river...it’s a strange one :-(

Might be interesting to follow the story. All other cars stolen with a child in were quickly abandoned where they could be found safely. :-S

They wouldn't be able to use her evidence though although the police might act on it. Other cases of children in a car when stolen has never said claimed to be stolen that's why I wonder if it's as straight forward as a theft gone wrong.

If the child is like my daughter was at 3, she will be able to tell them what happened. Hope she survives the ordeal. It will probably affect her mentally too :-( :-(
