So basically, it's a good, old fashioned screen print :-D :-D

Hi Maggie,

Yes. I press the "print" icon on the top right hand corner of the screen, but it will only print what is showing on the screen.

Sorry for delayed response. Had to give up the computer to my son and didn't get back on until now (it is his computer so I can't complain!). It was actually his idea to scroll down the list and then try pressing the print icon again.

Hi again Ive just attempted to download the above suggested program and Commodo antivirus pops up so Im not going to run the program. Pity that is a very bad sales flaw GR has and will definately effect further contributions from myself! Oh well its their business! Trgards WD

Do you press the 'print' icon in the top right hand corner, Kathleen?

Have just had another go at printing the full list. It will only print whatever it is showing on the screen (around 25 to 30 names). If you then scroll down the page so that the last name printed is at the top of the screen and print again it will print the next 25 or so names. You will have to do this again and again until the full list is printed.

When that problem was discussed a while ago, a workaround was suggested.

Copy & paste each page of names onto a word doc (or equivalent) and print out those. At least that way you’ll be able to eliminate various unknown mothers or random Mary’s or whatever.

If you’ve a number of pages, you could be sometime!

The problem Detective is to print a list of the people in the tree.
The method you give does not do this and never has done.

Thanks DetEcTive, I never really look at my tree on here - I don't have much on it anyway.

However when I tried what you suggested it brings up the complete list of names on my tree, but only prints off the first 25 or so names, and I can't find a way to get it to print the whole list.

Go to Family Tree which will open in another tab.

On the top left, under Genes Reunited, are 5 buttons

Immediate family
Pedigree
Ancestors
Descendants
Full
List

Click List.

There's an icon of a printer on the same line - top right of the page. Click that to see what happens!

There is no built in way to do this with GR.
Here is a work around.

1. export your tree to a GED file - it will arrive within 24 hours by e-mail as an attachment.
2. download this free program
http://www.oxy-gen-soft.net/index_en.php
3. you will now be able to manipulate the tree data afteryou have imported the ged file

good luck
