Hope the daughter is better now.

We’ve had an ambulance and later a district nurse arrive at the dead end of our Close. The house they wanted, which has a name rather than a number, was on a different road but backed onto us.

Their satnav had sent them to the wrong place.

As you know, I live at 2 Council Houses, Country Lane, Village and across the road, on the same post code is 2 Country Lane,Village.Quite often, if their post code goes into a computer, my address comes up automatically so I get a fair bit of their post and I know he has a better washing machine than I do because I have , on occasion, received his insurance paperwork in my name because I use the same company.

Last night, OH had a job that meant he came i at 2;30 a:m so, because I had nothing to get up for , I stayed up and we were enjoying a lie in this morning. That was until 10:30, when the para- medics knocked our door.

One of the daughters was at home for Easter, across the road and she had had a black-out!
