I never liked Eric Bristow, in his hayday I thought him arrogant,I much preferred John Lowe, Jockey Wilson and Bobby George of his era and after he appeared in the jungle I thought him a lazy arrogant bully :-)

My OH met him once. He was in the bar of OH's club when there was a big darting event on. OH had a good chat with him. He said he was a really nice man.

In my younger days when I was a darts captain, Eric was my hero, the best.

In fact he was on pointless for charity just a few days ago I think.
