This is home Jem. I don't miss UK but I miss people so I love visiting to catch up. Flying is boring but it's the only way I have of getting to the UK. I'm flying into East Midlands Airport and out of Birmingham International. Both are easy accessible not like Heathrow or Gatwick. |

No they went on Tuesday Jem, next is my sister who comes on the 20th May. She flies back with me. I am going to the UK - start from here on 1st May arrive 2nd. Sister has never flown before :-0 |

We knew that, Pat, from years ago when another friend was laid up. They try to prevent blood clots. The stockings they give you are quite chic - not! Also it helps prevent any lung problems because of excess fluid. |

They get you up and moving about for most things now. A lot of operations are done as a day patient now too, with an assigned nurse ringing you at home to see if you are ok! |

Many get pneumonia with broken hips if they stay in bed so they get you up as soon as possible |
