I put a thread up asking for emoticons a few years ago and still mostly got anonymous lurkers. :-0 I don't bother putting up threads anymore - in fact, I rarely bother with GR at all. :-\

Yeah ...Island perhaps they are too scared to post , that use to be very popular. It seems to me most of the trend is to post a thread with some sort of problem where people can offer loads of their "worldly wise" advice and aye, support and told how wonderful you are :-D
