Many words are capable of amusing or offending some esoteric Scrabble contestants.

Sharron

Sharron Report 25 Apr 2018 12:23

I play quite a lot of Scrabble on Facebook and am not very competitive or, indeed, good at it. There is one Indian man I have been playing for years. I don't think English is even his first language but he regularly beats me by one or even two hundred.

When I first played, my very first opponent was a wierdo who was quite chatty on the side panel and then started asking me some funny questions but I have had no further problems and we even apologize to each other when we lay a rude one!

Yesterday I was paying while I watched the news and, putting the cursor in the wrong place, got myself a new opponent and he is red hot at it.

Off course, you like to look good on the first game and I laid a seventy.Did it really have to be 'fellated'? Did the next two best words that came out have to be 'limp' and 'groin'?
