I just tried getting onto GR on the UK site rather than the Australian site and it

seems to be okay now,I can access my tree. Proble solved!I should have persevered

a bit more!!

Many thanks Rollo TheRed for your help.

Margot.

Thank you for your reply,RolloThe Red. I have the Chrome browser. I don't

understand what the BIOS date and time are.I will try and get the BIOS screen up

and hopefully sort it out. I need to be able to access my tree on here.At least you

have given me some hope with your statement about the site being safe.

All of the BrightSolid sites inc GR and FMP are safe with their certificates up to date.
Try a different browser to Edge ie Chrome or Firefox.
Make sure the BIOS date and time for yr computer do not confllict with windows time/date. If they do then the error you cite is certain regardless of browser.

You can get to the BIOS screen at power up usually by pressing F2 or the Del key during boot.

MargarettawasMargot Report 26 Apr 2018 14:06

I did post a message before, but we had a power blackout and it disappeared, never to be seen again.

When I click onto my tree on the GR site I get a warning message which is a red triangle with an !,saying

"Your connection is not private",and a warning that the site could be in danger of being hacked. Then a blue rectangular box on the RHS says"Back to safety".I just usually click on the blue box and get out of the site,so at the moment I am unable to access my tree on GR. I haven't been able to access it for about a month.

How do I know if the site is safe, and how do I access my tree? My computer is quite new and runs on Windows 10.I have run 2 scans in the last few days, (Bitdefender and a Malware scan,),and neither have reported any threats.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Where do I go from here?

As you may have gathered,I am somewhat IT challenged. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for reading this.

Margot.
