Great News Sharron :-D <3

Kucinta Report 27 Apr 2018 20:43

It's really liberating for me not to have the stress of trying to pass for normal at work every day, but l know l could end up in complete hibernation if l'm not careful. Living in a city l feel very anonymous, that l don't really belong anywhere, so l'm trying to change things in baby steps, as its so easy to be overwhelmed just by the basics of living. I need to find my version of dishcloths! ;-)

Sharron

Sharron Report 27 Apr 2018 21:12

Try dishcloths, very soothing and useful.

I suppose I am very lucky to be living in a village, my village where I have always lived, but I am still a bit of a non-entity.

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 27 Apr 2018 22:11

I don't mind being a non-entity, but l'd like to feel more connected, slightly less 'hiding in my room, safe within my womb, l touch no one and no one touches me'. The cats will keep me company though, as long as l feed them! :-D

How about rug making Kucinta?
I went through a phase of not working and bought a dolls house to construct.
I now have 5.
2 new ones and 3 second hand ones for 'renovation'.
One should be a 'squat' :-D

....then I started work again, and they've been left untouched for a couple of years - but are there when I need them (or clear the room out enough to start on them again) ;-) :-D

Patchwork, you will have forty odd years worth there.

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 27 Apr 2018 22:37

I think my feline boys would try and assist me with the rugmaking -l can't even see a button back on without there assistance. I have recently discovered online jigsaws which are quite relaxing, and was thinking about trying something called WOrds with Friends, which is some sort of online Scrabble lookalike. The competitive element might trigger the old anxiety beasts though.

Apologies for Taking over Sharon's post! I do admire the way she's finding her way back though, and l loved the Fred sagas, Sharon has a wicked way with words ;-)

Arghh! I 'bought' a tablet at Argos with my Nectar points, but am finding the 'keyboard ' a bit squitty, and the darn thing predictive texts and changes what l meant to say, but l don't realise until l've posted e.g. see for sew in my last post, and there for their.

I play Scrabble on FB if you want to beat me.

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 27 Apr 2018 22:58

Sharron, l can't see me beating anyone! How do you find it to get going? I did join facebook a while ago, but found it all a bit incomprehensible, I'm a complete numpty with the whole social media thing.

Pt's one of the games they offer. Can't remember how I found it.It is a green logo with a scrabble tile on it.

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 27 Apr 2018 23:18

Struggling to find the pt scrabble (sounds like you have to exercise your body as well as your brain!)

Complete numpty at this. Will try again tomorrow. Bed calls.

You feel free to take over the thread Kucinta, you are probably far more interesting than I am, most people are. Fred certainly was.

You could friend me on FB, remembering I have two Rs, and I will challenge you if you want to play Scrabble.

Caroline

Caroline Report 28 Apr 2018 02:15

Sounds like you two have a scrabble match in the near future no rude words :-)

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 28 Apr 2018 10:58

I have to learn the rules first! Played it a couple of times years ago, but that's all.

Caroline

Caroline Report 28 Apr 2018 13:18

In my case it's where you try to find as many small words as you can while the other show off puts massive words down. :-)

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 28 Apr 2018 13:28

Sounds like that might be my strategy Caroline :-(

I'm still struggling with fat fingers on the new tablet. I haven't had a moblie phone for years, though have just succumbed to a basic PAYG one, so I don't have texting thumbs and am very slow hunt and peck, not used to the whole android thingy.

Android makes me think of Data from Star Trek NG :-S

Kucinta Report 28 Apr 2018 21:09

I am so getting thrashed! :-( :-( :-(

Sharron

Sharron Report 28 Apr 2018 21:29

You so are not!

Kucinta

Kucinta Report 28 Apr 2018 22:20

OH yes I am!

Unfortunately...

I had to resort to a bad word. Serves me right for playing it, as I've now worked out the word I should have played instead. :-(
