It seems to be a real scheme, just that 'chancers' have found a way to make a fast buck out of the energy companies!

...I will say nothing about a particular political party that doesn't appear be able to think things through, and assess the 'downside' of some of their ideas! :-D :-D

If you could find the Utility company they alleged they were working for, your landlord could, perhaps, report the firm to them, too.

Just realised of course..Trading Standards! Im going to suggest to the owner about ringing them or our local council.

This company have done shoddy other work in peoples houses and the more I tell others, I'm then hearing more terrible stories. Thankfully no money parted hands and we were informed its paid for by a grant scheme through the energy companies.
Just as well!!

Thankfully, my new neighbours who bought their house 2 months ago, told the guy to clear off and another lady in the village also.So I guess, they will soon get no more jobs but then they will clear off never to be seen again.


Im not hopeful of any compensation but if we can stop the company messing up anybody elses property then that will be a good outcome.


if this property had been my own private dwelling, then I would have never agreed to the work being done and would also have told him no thanks.


What next as if I haven't enough to deal with just now!!

Has anyone had a room in loft insulated for free by an insulation company?


Sadly, my landlord was duped into having 2 rooms upstairs done(bedrooms).To cut a very long story short, the company made a complete hash of the job, broke my bed and ruined several other items. Made the house so filthy, the house had to be professionally cleaned.


It's in the hands of the owner's lawyers but the boss of this company is difficult to find! He lives on the mainland and pops up now and again touting for new business and so far has not answered any of the 3 letters that have been sent to his registered bus address.
He said they are paid by energy companies. As there was no paperwork at all... I want to know how they can get paid for the jobs they do without any proof they they have completed the work?

I am reduced to sleeping on a small downstairs room on an airbed as they broke my new bed which I only bought 7 weeks ago!


They were supposed to come back and paint the walls which were insulated and plastered but never returned.


As it's in the hands of the owner's lawyers I wont interfere but was wondering, if anyone knows how these companies get paid?
