Another bootiful day here. Coffee (but no cake) with a pal followed by a look into Boots and M and S where I picked up a new pair of sandals.

Left-overs for my lunch - OH never, ever, eats left-overs.

In a short while I'll be meeting dtr for a coffee as she's on her way back home.

No water restrictions here - and more nice weather to come. Roll on, I ain't complaining. What's not to like? :-D

I'm planning to do zilch for the next few days or more. :-D

Girls, I have been notified that they have used the latest methods to re-test my DNA - which, I understand is always ongoing when new tests become available.

The traces which they had been unable to pin down accurately so wrote several parts of Europe down (making me a virtual mongrel) have been sorted.

I know a person's DNA never changes so rang my younger bro to pick his brains. His field was genetics and he carried out genetic research then lectured in biology and genetics as he got older so he is my go-to guy for this sort of thing. He was eloquent to say the least and told me all about the use of chemicals etc (which daughter understood but me ... Nah!)
