My two cats Meg and Mog are the strangest cats I’ve ever had and wondered if anyone else had ever heard of cats like this? Meg and Mog are about 10 months old and Mog tries to eat carrot cake, chicken in Madeira sauce, crisps, tomato soup, rice and mushroom sauce. All of which we try and prevent her eating. Mog however turns her nose up at fish, plain chicken, lamb and beef. Anyone else ever had a cat who won’t eat things most other cats seem to enjoy.

Meg on the other hand eats all the things most cats eat however Meg comes running towards you for attention whilst wagging her tail like a dog. Anyone else ever heard of cats like these?

My wife and I have 4 cats. Izzy, Alfie, Fluffy and Scruffy. Scruffy replaced Fifi who was

run over last year. Fluffy and Alfie are the kittens of Fifi. In we addition we have an

assortment of strays come to our back door to be fed. Of the house cat one is a parky

eater, the others would eat me if I stood still long enough. Over the years we have had

several cats, all glad of the shelter and the free meal. All things considered, cats

are often preferable company to some humans ;-)

My Tommy, who was the epitome of gentlemanly pussy normality, would bite your hand off for a little piece of chapati.

Mine are very good when it comes to 'human' food.
They may sniff it, lurk around when I'm preparing dinner - I may give them a bit to try - but they'll usually leave it. The smell is obviously nicer than the taste!
If I give them sardines in tomato sauce - they leave the sardine and lick the tomato sauce :-S
I've never given them treats, either, so I don't get them 'bothering' me.
George comes when he's called, and I just have to show Betty her brush, and she's there.

George has a habit of stroking my face with his tail, which is cute, but can lead to fur in the mouth. :-|

There is nothing or nobody who looks at you so forlornly the way a wet cat does.

We have a habit of leaving food out in dishes for malnourished strays. Often we get

a fox in the early hours. Today a sea gull as big as a duck was eating it :-0

Mr Tibbs is my 5 years old , rehomed 3 years ago

Summer or winter he thinks 5am is one up all up and will scratch and miew at the bedroom door till I get up

Afraid he is a scratcher at doors and drawer top gaps so he has to kept out of the bedrooms as I bought new furniture and I don't want it damaged .

He has to wait till 6am for his food as am trying to train him , it's not working !!!!

He isn't a lap cat but will climb on my chest if he does manage to get inti the bedroom if I am taking a bathroom break in the night

He knows exactly what he wants and even though he is a nice cat he can get annoyed with me if I don't respond or stop him doing a jump up
He gets a wild look on his face and will attack my legs claws out .

That can be frightening. :-D

Dermot - my cats love rain :-S

When the rain comes after this sun, as long as it's not thundering - they'll be out there.
Mind you, they also like the drying off process. :-D
