I think I have some White Linen somewhere, it probably smells like cats now lol

There's a fine line, even in Kefalonia etc, between the fragrance of the jasmine and the smell of toilet cleaner!

Dad bought me some Chanel No 9 once - THAT definitely smelt like un-neutered Tom cats on me :-(

...which is probably why you're supposed to try perfume on before you buy it. :-D

I don't like jasmine, probably too many years bottling White Linen in the Estee Lauder factory.

There is always a bit of a smell of wee about it!

This is not to detract from the pleasure and happy memories you jasmine brings to you,of course.

How lovely. Stocks are some of my favourite flowers, their perfume is wonderful.

Our jasmine is flowering atm, reminds me of our Greek holidays.

Love night scented stocks, what a good idea.

We sleep in the back bedroom, next to the bathroom, and have the flat roof of the wet-room outside so there are three pots of night scented stocks on the flat roof.

It is lovely to have the fragrance drift in through the night but it was a bit of a pain to water them when they were on the corners so I have them under the bathroom window now, where I can lean out and tip water on them.
