My mother used to moan about the jungle music booming out of my room as all she heard was the thud of the drums...I don't have that problem my kids always use headphones/earplugs...not good for their long-term hearing but great for me!

But, as the roofers have their radio on loudly - on Radio 1.
I can't listen to the 'spoken word' on my radio so am listening to my various CD's - mostly bought to remind me of holidays, situations etc. :-D

Typical 'old person' thing to say, but the stuff coming from the roofers radio just sounds like a load of moaning :-(
