My dad wanted to move. Pre war he was going to night school to learn shorthand/typing to be a journalist. He was an engineer making parts. In 1938 he moved jobs and started making spitfire parts. End of courses as he was working long hours and met my mum at the end of the war - stayed in his engineering job and in Walsall. |

Mine mainly stayed in the West Midlands but my fathers family (Lloyds) were from Wales but so far (1785) all born Dudley. :-S |

Well I know there's a large family, others have the list but he married 4 times. 1st in UK but she died just after they got to America. He then appears to have had 3 wives in Salt Lake and there's confusion about which child belongs where. |
