Dermot Report 25 Jul 2018 12:03

The PM is wasting valuable time in sorting out various factions within Government when, in fact, all her vast energy should be aimed at EU exit talks.

It seems clear that Europe finds the UK withdrawal unsettling.

RolloTheRed Report 24 Jul 2018 20:02

"I am saddened, saddened I tell you, that Peck has to take a pot shot at Theresa May. What is the world coming to? She has stated clearly that Brexit means Brexit. She has watched in dismay as the finest minds of the Conservative Party (for some value of "minds") have failed to deliver her vision. And now, as the T34s and the Stalins of the EUSSR draw ever closer to the Brexitbunker, as an orange American bomber drops an enormous dump right overhead, she realises that all her generals are traitors to the cause and she must direct the war alone. Little does she realise, in her isolation, that the fighting units on the maps don't really exist any more. Little does she comprehend that the red lines are already being trampled by the stormtroopers of the European Commission, and that Jacob Rees-Mogg is already on the way to Ireland disguised as a human being while Johnson is trying to contact the International Red Cross. We must feel a twinge of sympathy for this woman, despite her desire to take sixty million people down with her in an economic Goetterdammerung. (Liberally adapted from Alan Clark, Barbarossa.)"
