	This might prove to be a purely academic question but when do you harvest cob nuts, like how do they look when you pick them? You see, I bought an edible hedge from Suttons a coupe of years ago and I have noticed that I have a little cluster of cob nuts on it for the first time this year. Unfortunately, a certain bushy tailed individual will no doubt have seen them as well, he saw the three cherries that were on there a couple of years ago, and he will know better than will I when they are at their best.

	According to google about late September. If I remember correctly we used to pick them a bit earlier as it was before we went back to school. Why not net them then your furry friend can't get them before you. I've netted all my vulnerable fruits and bulbs against said furry friend. ;-)

	Not very practical where they are and it is a lot of faff for six nuts.
