V and I were driving on the dual carriageway last week and there was a big blaze on the grass verge....she rang the fire brigade

We have several parks around us, run by the Corporation of London. They have decreed that you can light bar-b-ques there. So a nice stroll in the park, and you have to dodge the stinking smoke, and the spitting bangers! :-( :-( :-(

Barbecues have been banned from our Country Park thankfully. There are areas that look charred that have been fenced off. It would be tragic if it all went up in flames :-(
