We had a dog, that liked tea....she had her own two handled cup. which she locked her claws onto and hardly ever spilled a drop!

Don't suppose he would mind you having a swig out of his ice-cream carton.

I have never known Jacky Milburn to drink at all.

Allan, you should realise, your milk is much better than any milk you may put in a bowl for him! :-D :-D :-D

When my cats were kittens, my daughter lived with me.
She, unlike me, drank water. The cats would drink her water out of her glass.
Since daughter moved out, about 11 years ago, they haven't had this 'treat' and have grown out of the habit. They have water in a bowl.

However, my daughter's cat (a rescue) actually has her own glass of water next to her food!! :-S
Apparently she won't drink it out of a bowl :-\

Part of my normal bedtime routine includes taking a glass of milk up with me so that if I wake thirsty at any point I will have something there to ward off said thirst.

Part of my cat's normal bedtime routine is to wait downstairs for about five minutes after I've gone to bed and then to join me. By the time he's finished nipping me, laying across my chest then along my chest, we both assume positions comfortable to each and fall asleep.

Last Thursday nigh/Friday morning I felt the cat brush across the top of my head and the next thing I see is him with his head in my glass of mil k merrily drinking away.

This action is highly unusual as this particular cat usually only drinks water, the dirtier the belter. We have several ice-cream containers in the garden which collect water which we don't bother emptying unless it's the mosquito season.:-0

The cat loves drinking rom these, even though he has clean water both upstairs and downstairs.

Friday night he went to do the same thing with my milk which I removed before he could get to it.

Then last night the same thing again but in this instance I drank the milk before he could ! Then 2 hrs. later he nearly got his head stuck in the empty glass :-S

I wonder how long we have been sharing and caring :-D :-D
