think this is the same thing i get some times after putting in wrong password

now i do have more than one email so what i do is have the code send to another email and in the email thay send me the 4 diget number

that i dont mine but i have nether joind up with phone number

so if you have more than one email have them send it to that

I can't use my Hotmail account. I thought it had gone to Outlook some time ago but even this seems to have gone. Keep getting the account is already in use so they can forget me now. Shan't bother even trying to get it put right.

One of the ladies at coffee morning can't access her hotmail account

She was asked to log in again then it rejected her password .she reset a new password now gets the message that she can't log in because the account is already in use

She is stuck on what to do

An email to Microsoft has been ignored

Tried to Google the number that I got Text from no info showing, I also use Hotmail daily and never received this before, wary about continuing and putting in my phone number, I will try and contact Microsoft tomorrow.

I access Hotmail daily and have received no message like that. I use the American site even though I'm in Australia. Was on it not 30 minutes ago

+676623198 was the number, I didn't recognise it. I will try and Google it, and continue to try and make contact with Micro as its annoying I cant access my email account.

It sounds like a scam!

When you say "unknown number" do you mean there is no number given, or is it a number you don't recognise? If the latter, then Google it. We have done this lots of times, and in most cases other people have had the same thing happen and there is no doubt it is a scam.

Also, I would keep trying to contact Microsoft. Good Luck!

I recd a Text today from unknown number. Someone else might have accessed Microsoft account then my email with some letters as astericks, Recover at http;// account.live.com I thought this was a scam but tonight tried to log into my Hotmail account after entering my email and password the same message appears, says to help you get back into my email address again shown we need to verify its yours then next box. Now into message how do you want to rec your security code, goes on to say enter last 4 digits of your phone number to get a code.

Has anyone else got this message.

I recall a few days ago I got a message when logging in saying is this your phone number, which it was either verify or ask me later which I clicked on. Tried to send a message to Microsoft but came up there was an error try later.

Any help appreciated
