	They used to be so big and heavy. Daughter had a job delivering them for a bit of extra money. I used to help her, as it was impossible to carry more than about 5 or 6 at one time. Usually they wouldn't fit through a letterbox and there were strict rules about where they could be left.

When you need a special cupboard for your telephone directories? There was always 2, then the yellow pages and then Thompson for local business's. We got a new one today it more resembles a pamphlet. What use it that, couldn't stand it now a days to reach your top cupboard :-D
