Somebody mentioned the characteristics of a cat breed on the television the other night so I looked it up and it does look like my Jacky Milburn might be largely Maine Coon.

He certainly has the magnificent tail, to mention the pantaloons and furry bum, not to mention the neck ruff (little main) and hairy feet.

He is enormous but it seems they can keep growing until they are five. It is already perishing cold with the cat-flap wedged open but it will be even worse if I eventually need to leave the door open all the time because he can no longer fit through there!

Well trained staff!

We have always been impressed by how reasonable he is and that is another trait of Maine Coons.
