We are usually the little green bit sticking out at the bottom of a white island.

rain, showers and clouds here .....................

but around 100km away it's snow, with 20-30 cm on the mountain passes expected by tomorrow morning.

Snow tires and chains to the rescue :-D

The moon here , when I came home at 5:30 was low, full, red and had a haze around it. :-S
It looked amazing - but scary.

It’s possible! Because of a family anniversary this week, we’re aware that historically we’ve had a cold snap, or even snow. You only need to look at dated photos of snowmen in our album!

It looks a bit bleak over wills mum here in Kent !!

Cat doesn't seem bothered though as he has just gone out again

Harold the tortoise seems to be settling down for the winter

I need to bed him in but the wooden door to his house is wet so it won't close
I can't put the insulation and fresh hay in till I can close his door which is a drawbridge type

He has got hay and had buried himself a bit but I like to bed him right down

He hibernates every year in his house in the garden

We have had him since 1968 so must be doing it right
:-D

Of that sky out there.

It looks there is a bit of a yellow tinge to it. That usually means the white stuff is a coming but this is November and we are on the South coast.Surely, surely not, please!
