It looks like they have one that is aimed towards sourdough bread making. While I have been thinking about making a sourdough starter for a long time, it hasn't happened yet.

If ever I do get one going I am sure I can bake that in the oven so it will be the other model.

We had a Panasonic years ago Sharron which was brilliant, much better than our two subsequent bread makers. We don't make our own bread any more as OH who was breadmaker in chief has lost enthusiasm over the years! but who knows, a spark might reignite at some stage!!!! ;-)

Never used a Panasonic myself but my daughter has one and seems to turn out some decent breads - better than my Morphy Richards anyway.

He is not supposed to share his wisdom on my threads because he suggested we should keep off each others threads and I have no trouble at all in doing that.

I expect he has some kind of diploma in breadmaker operation and knows which is the best one to have though.

I am currently o my fourth bread machine which is a Morphy Richards I bought because I have always been very impressed by their customer service. We did have one Breville which I did not get on with at all.

Unfortunately, I am none too keen on the bread this one produces so it does not get the use intended for it and we are thinking of getting another.

A friend has a Panasonic, bought after her husband 'looked into it' and concluded that that was the best option. She says the bread is the best and has promised me a loaf to try.

Because it will make all our bread and if I like the one we try we are thinking we might go for a top end model. I used to make all our bread in a machine until, after some years, Fred announced that he didn't like it so he had to buy the bread himself,(that larned 'un!)

I was just wondering if anybody on here had any thoughts about Panasonic bred makers, especially the high end ones.
