Hello What would you like for Christmas?

Good morning to you, not seen you for ages, are you well?

I could say what everyone expects us to say.. (and it is true I would like this) good health, a contented healthy family, an end to all the horrible gang warfares/knifings etc. and everyone to stay safe. But (tongue in cheek) I would like to win the lottery enough so that I could make sure all our grandchildren were financially stable and also enough to have a good portion to give to local charities that are struggling.

My first response was almost 'peace' but it could have been taken as peace, perfect peace that we will all experience one day, and wrong to wish for too soon - so, I'd say 'HAPPINESS' . :-D

I’d want the things that Ann and JoyLouise have mentioned but I’d also like my OH to register the very heavy hints I’m dropping about presents I would like :-D

Well, it will not be that £400 hairdryer.

I would like narcissistic abuse to stop being secret. That would be a start!

I Wish Good health and happiness for everyone else.
I wish for a brand new top of the range Nikon Camera, lol
I wish all people could & would be nice to each other.
I also wish the world would stop being taken over by silly people.

I would like a full set of dentures to be ready but I don't hold out much hope. Minced Christmas dinner for me.

Phyll, a friend of mine is going through the same thing.
He broke his bottom set of partials.
Dentist decided to take the rest of his lower teeth out - one at a time, over a period of 2 months!
I told him to insist (after the first one), that they were taken out at the same time - he's not a child, and doesn't suffer from a dentist phobia. We all know that cheekbones hurt after having teeth out - dentists use them for leverage..
His dentist did take the rest of his teeth out in one go - it hurt, but not for long..
Dentist took a mould.
Friend went back - mould not 'quite right' - another one taken.
Hopefully bottom denture should be in next week!

Having moulds taken on Tuesday but I personally don't think they will be ready for Christmas. Watch this space.
