Made the Christmas cakes today, and not before time!

This year, I washed up and chopped cherries and stuff and he who has been a chef for forty years mixed them up and did the tins.

Because I washed up, I got to lick the bowl and he isn't half efficient with his spatula. He scraped with gusto and there was hardly a fingerful for me.

I won't forget when it is his turn for a lick!

I used to love scraping the bowl as a kid, but the thought revolts me now, funny how our palates change with the years (or not!!)
