Can I just say, I can't break my nails - it takes major force just to cut the bl**dy things :-S
At my nephews wedding, everyone was given a pot of bubbles to blow as they walked to the ceremony. No-one could break the seal.
Guess who went along piercing the pots with her thumb nail?
Independent types got out their car keys.
May I flounce about my inability to break my nails, and the trauma involved in cutting my even harder toe nails?

My nails are also very strong, but when you hit a door or the end of a rail hard enough with your finger straight it means the tip of your nail just snaps off :-(

I have a manicure every 2/3 weeks yet my thumb nails always split mid nail width ways
why I have no idea neither does the lovely girl that does them :-S
