All 3 births registered 1962. See https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

There’s nothing on the index numbers to indicate they were adopted. Does the BC you have mention it or is it an original? The index would have been altered later.

Certificates can be purchased from https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ at a cost of £9.25, shortly to rise to £11.

You could contact your own local or IoW social services to ask how they could help.

Adding (edited) info sent by PM. Gina, in future, could you please reply on the thread?

Editing due to requested discretion.

the birth certificate that I have for her, she’s one of triplets by the way, is she was born on xx may on the Isle of Wight. And I know that they were given up for adoption around 6 months old. My mum on the birth certificate was down as (redacted) surname Eyett. They were born (on the IoW)

I think I’ve found two of the triplets, both living on the Isle of Wight, but finding Wanda has been a massive challenge.
I will go through all these names now.
Thank you so much.
The other two are Jxxx Lxxx and Lxxx Mxxx
They’ve been kept a secret from for all theses years.

.........

If they’ve been adopted, their names would probably have been changed.

Follow this link & have a read. Add your name to the adoption contact register & possibly hire an intermediary agent.
Use the Search all member trees for the girls. If they are listed, send a message asking how the member is related.

On Findmypast, keywords Wanda L & Isle of Wight

Wanda L Dolata married 1989
Wanda L Eyett born 1962

If she was born off island, moved there as a child but married elsewhere, there’s only a slight chance of identifying her.

What else do you know about her or her family? Did you know her from school?
Approx year of birth is essential.

Gina, any idea when she was born? When did you have knowledge of her living or from the IoW?

Hi, is there anyone on this that lives or used to live on the Isle of Wight who knows a person with this name. Unfortunately I don’t know her surname.
Many thanks.
Gina. :-)
