It's cold but sunnyish here today. And my heating has gone on the blink! It's to do with the pressure in the boiler. Will have to send for the Son-In-Law :-D

Good afternoon Island, Belle and Mersey.

I didn't have to go back to senior school Pat because there's a pub in one of the villages in this county called The Throstle's Nest so from a much younger age all of my school chums knew what a throstle was. :-D

(Edit: OH has just told me that it is no longer a pub!)

Emma would appreciate the name and I'm sure we'd be regaled with a song from her if she was fighting fit. <3 :-D

A throstle is a song thrush. Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote a poem about it. That's going back to senior school :-S
