She has apparently told friends the child will be raised with a "fluid approach to gender", no "gender stereotyping"

If that means no pink for girls/blue for boys, or trains only for boys/dolls only for girls ......great!

If it means treating the child as if it is not either sex ....... yuk!

I agree with you, Sylvia.

I think some adults occasionally present children with the 'Arfer or Marfer' dilemma, unnecessarily creating conflict within the child's being where before there was none.
