Poignant for me.

My darling Dad died two weeks ago and his all time comedy favourites were Morecambe & Wise.

I can remember Dad creasing with laughter, as did all the family, watching the original Andre Previn/Preview skit.

For many years after Dad listened again on an LP..........He still roared with laughter every time.

My Fair Lady, Gigi... a towering genius of late C20 music. I was fortunate to see him at Cleo Lane/Johnny Dankworth's Milton Keynes Stable studio in the 70s. Fabulous jazz pianist and composer, owner of a wry wit.

Now he will be playing all the notes in the right order.
