We had a very special party for her yesterday,really emotional but

We bought her an original WAAF hat as she lost hers many years ago although she doesn't not remember alot of things she talks of the WAAF so it was such a lovely moment.

Thank goodness the sun is shining cos I,m off up to London from Kent for lunch at one of the big hotels .
I worked for Unilever for many years and and they hold a yearly pensioners lunch

A nice way to meet up with old colleagues

Haven't been for about 5 years as hubbies health declined and he couldn't manage it

Didn't feel like going on my own after he passed but have been on the "please do come we would love to see you " messages and phone calls so I am going to try the journey

Will have to take a taxi from Victoria as I can't do the underground with all the steps and escalators but I am looking forward to it
