	I sometimes wonder if those big names earned that sort of money when they were playing the game. I remember was allegedly not reading the news on a Sunday for religious reasons, but if there's a big football match on he's among the commentators.

	I suppose those financial figures are the going prices for human 'Gods' who can talk for ages about nothing very much. Not an easy task. I doubt if the Brexit debacle worries them unduly.

	I noticed the salaries being paid to football pundits, Alan Shearer id paid £450 thousand pounds a year to discuss football results. Garu Liniker is paid £1.75 million for the same job. I didn't Dan Walker mentioned, he's available for football commentaries. All seems very expensive.
