We had a dry run at making the bread rolls and brought home the ones not eaten. There is quite a substantial bread and butter pudding in the making with the left-over butter pats and an enormous bread pudding in soak.

Our reward I think.

Making the cheesecakes and bread dough tomorrow. Bake the dough the next day and it will be all systems go.

Ploughman's for them this time. Home made bread, cheese, my peach chutney and pickled onions, Branston, Little Gems and quartered tomatoes.

Baked cheesecake with my marrow jam, which never sets well, on top. I won't tell them what it is until they have eaten it.

I have made better pickled onions than these but there is not much I can do about it now and I had better taste the peach chutney before I serve it too.
